SpaceNest AR is a free AR-Education application created in Unreal Engine 4, which helps you to visualize the Planets, Historical artifacts, Satellites and more, with the comfort of sitting in the living room.
With the power of Epic's Unreal Engine 4 and Google's ARCore, This small experiment aims to empower you to discover various objects from around the world and directly from NASA and Smithsonian archives in real time and explore them at your convenience.
To make this experience as authentic as possible, The Models and Textures are fetched from their respective real-world archives to provide the most authentic experience to you.
- The codebase of this application is written entirely in Unreal's Blueprints.
- The UI of the application was created in Adobe XD and then developed using Unreal's UMG and
- UX of this application by following the Design Thinking flow, where I gathered constant feedback, validations and re-iterating what actually clicks with user and AR application.
